This page explains what we keep when you use the site or write to us, why we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you send a message or ask about a commission, we keep what you have typed: your name, your email address and the details of your request.
The site also records ordinary technical information, such as the type of browser used and the pages opened, so we can tell what is slow or broken.
Your fishing reports and catch logs are kept on file while you're actively using the service and for a reasonable time after. Records tied to specific trips are archived longer, as we may need to reference them for seasonal patterns and fishing forecasts.
We do not sell your fishing data or location information. It is shared only with the services that help us run the guide, and only the details they need to provide better recommendations.
Access to your angler profile is limited to authorized staff, and all data sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection.
You can ask to see what we hold about your fishing activity, to correct it, or to have it removed. Contact us and we will confirm once it is done.
This site uses a small number of cookies to track your fishing preferences and improve recommendations. Which ones, and how to disable them, is explained separately.
If we change anything here, we'll update this page and mark the date at the top.
Have questions about how we use your data? Use the contact form and we'll give you a straight answer.
